Medical Device (Exemption) Order 2016 

The Medical Device Authority hereby informs that the following medical device has been exempted:-

1.      Medical device meant for certain purposes are exempted from registration

2.      Class A medical device are exempted from Conformity Assessment by the Conformity Assessment Body.

This order came into effect on 18th April 2016. Hence, the Circular Letter of MDA NO.3 Year 2014 will no longer effective. Kindly refer to the order gazetted as P.U (A) 103/2016.
